With a presence in the country of more than six years, Cameroon represents GVFI's largest investment in field research. GVFI researchers conduct ongoing disease surveillance activities in the 16 field sites; five sites that stand as primary sites for the investigation of human pathogens (marked as (H) below), nine sites dedicated bird sampling (B), and two sanctuary sites (S) in which wild animal sampling is conducted. Additionally, GVFI's main field laboratory (L) is located in Cameroon's capital, Yaounde. Explore the sites below to investigate the ongoing activities in the country.
