Cameroon Research in Cameroon focuses on the interface between human and animal populations. Through studies in health care settings, wildlife sanctuaries, and with hunters and wild animal populations, GVFI works to assemble and analyze collections which may hold clues to preventing the next HIV. Collaborators include the Centre de Recherche de Santé des Armées, the Care & Health Program, the Cameroon Ministry of Public Health, the Cameroon Ministry of Research and Scientific Development, the Limbe Wildlife Centre, Mvog Betsi Zoo, and Mefou National Park.
